What is Rockside Etna?
Etna, CA is a small, rural town located in Scott Valley, about an hour and a half south of Medford, Oregon.
Rockside Ranch in Etna was established in 2011 when a young man ran out of gas near the ranch, and met our co-founders, Jen & Craig.
With 100 acres of land, students help raise sheep, pork, chickens, and collect eggs from over 1,300 laying hens, along with many other farm animals in the Rockside life restoration program the Ranch. They also learn numerous skills to thrive in work and life.
The Rockside Workforce program in Etna was established in 2021, which graduates from the life restoration program can join. This fellowship opportunity allows graduates to stay connected to the community, while working a local job and living in stable housing.
